Filtration is a separation process that removes solid particles from a liquid through a filter medium.
After pressing, fresh Styrian pumpkin seed oil is left to stand for at least 7 days so that suspended matter settles. That is the official core step. Filtration may follow, but it is not the only clarification. Some oils go into the bottle with sediment. Filtration replaces neither settling nor refining.
