But how much space do we give our pumpkins to spread? Our formula for success in sowing pumpkin seeds is 140-70-4. What is behind these mysterious numbers?
- 140 cm is the row spacing of the plants.
- 70 cm is the distance between the individual plants. So the pumpkin plants have enough space to grow.
- And we "sink" our pumpkin seeds 4 cm deep. So the roots are well supplied and can provide nutrients to the pumpkin fruits well.
The result of 140-70-4 you can then taste in our awarded pumpkin seed oil!
