In the context of Styrian pumpkin seed oil: Halloween and the Styrian oil pumpkin have little in common, since the typical Halloween pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima or C. pepo) is a different variety from the oil pumpkin. Nevertheless, the worldwide enthusiasm for pumpkins has also raised awareness of Austrian pumpkin products.
