Wound healing is the body's own process by which injured tissue is repaired — from stopping bleeding through new tissue formation to scar formation.

In the context of Styrian pumpkin seed oil: plant oils are traditionally mentioned in folk medicine for external skin applications, similar to bruises or insect bites. Pumpkin seed oil is not a wound treatment and not a substitute for wound care or medical treatment.
